Time for another adventure!!!

So the lease on the house I am living in is up on June 30th and it is really too much for us to deal with so we have been searching for a new place.  While I was in Cleveland this past weekend I realized that it is time for me to leave Pennsylvania again.  I have been looking into places in North and South Carolina today but nothing really stood out to me.  I don't know whether I am just bored or if I'm tired of people telling me how I should act or just how rough this winter was but I need to live somewhere I can hit the beach after work or sit by the pool.  I need a place that doesn't get extremely cold for 7 months out of the year.  I just haven't narrowed down exactly where that is yet though.

What I do know is that the drama in my roommates life has picked up and I am just glad to know I wasn't here to see the actual events of said drama.  We have another new roommate who well she's a nice person but I wouldn't be able to live with her very long, I could tell that pretty quickly.  Let's just say it was an insane weekend which started Thursday night and that that is what has spurred this decision.

It's not there is really any reason for me to stay here in Pennsylvania.  At least none that I can think of.  I've got to move on with my life and start being happy again and I have never been happy in Pennsylvania (and I've lived here my whole life).  I was happiest in Virginia and Utah so far.  My nomadic tendencies are telling me to go further south this time though.  I am also considering Florida or Georgia right now.  I would love to get another one of my dream jobs on a cruise ship or for an airline so I could travel the world cheaply...lol!  There are so many places I want to visit or love but unless things change for me soon that will never happen.
I'm done letting other people create drama in my life.  I have let go of all of the drama in my life except for what has recently happened and that wasn't my own.  Life is too short to let drama and other people drive you to insanity.  My big issue will be leaving my job because while there are days where I hate it I really do LOVE my job.  It will be nice to hopefully be able to go down to one job and school however.  Then maybe I will have time to do some writing on the side and be able to actually pass my classes.  I haven't done well the last couple of semesters when it comes to school.

Welcome to a New Year!

So it is the first day of a new year once again.  Last year was pretty darn amazing if I do say so myself and I can't wait to see what this year holds in store for me.  First, let's do a recap of what last year held!

  • I started school again and rocked my first semester (not so much the second semester)
  • I got to visit Germany again and the trip was amazing
  • I moved out of my parents place (yes again) at last
  • I got to meet a ton of really cool authors in person at my first ever book signing

Now, after all those fun and great things what could I possibly do to make this year better?  Well let's see what the Resolutions for this year will be?

  • Finish at least one of my stories in progress (I want to try and self publish one this year)
  • Bring my GPA up from last semester
  • Take another awesome vacation
  • Possibly start an editing business
  • Eat healthier
  • Exercise at least twice a week
  • Start saving money
  • Just be a happier/healthier me in general!

I think these are all very attainable goals and I plan to stick to them.  I don't see them as resolutions per say more things I hope will happen throughout the year.  I don't know if the vacation will happen as I may be going to school over the summer but the rest of these are all very attainable.

Anyways, I hope you all have an extraordinary year, just like I'm hoping to have!
